Large group of title deeds concerning property in north Manchester and Buckinghamshire. Many of these deeds relate to the period when the Manchester property was held by the Scholes family, and were probably collected to prove the Brewis title.
The vast majority of the deeds are concerned with property in Tetlow Fold, which was situated in Broughton/Cheetham and consisted of several houses (such as Rawlinson's Tenement), and individually named closes and fields, and houses and land in Blackley. There is also a bundle of documents relating to Ibstone House and the attached estate in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire.
