Administrative / Biographical History
Charles Peter Stewart was born in Glasgow on 30 April 1928 . His father Charles Hugh Stewart was a medical practitioner. Charles studied medicine at the University of Glasgow from 1946-1951 and was awarded a second class certificate in Medical Jurisprudence for his examination results in 1950. Whilst at university, Charles and his brother established a typing and duplicating business called Stewart Bros. Charles graduated with an MBChB in July 1951 and subsequently practised medicine. He died in Hamilton on 2 July 2010.
