The collection consists of:
John Fraser Davidson was born on 22 September 1944 in Rutherglen, Scotland. His father was a company director. He was educated at Burnside Primary, Rutherglen and Allan Glen's School, Glasgow, Scotland. He enrolled at the University of Glasgow to study Engineering in 1962 and graduated with a BSc in 1966. He then studied Divinity at the University for a further three years from 1966-1969. Rev Davidson was ordained as a Church of Scotland minister in 1970.
