Administrative / Biographical History
Eliza McCallum Crawford was born in Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland, in 1907 and entered the University of Glasgow in 1925. In her first year she took Latin, French and Mathematics. In the 1926-1927 session she took English Ordinary and Higher French. In her final academic year, 1927-1928, she studied Logic, Moral Philosophy and Education. She graduated MA in June 1928, later becoming a teacher.
