Records of Stoddard International plc, Design Archive, Floral Bordered Squares 3

Scope and Content

A selection of small sketches, all from the late 19th to mid 20th century, loosely titled 'Floral Bordered Squares 3', some of which resemble Templeton's Medallion range in style or feature floral, damask or chintz designs. There are designs by, amongst others, Prignot and Souchet, Vuillot & Guerin, and there a few designs from James Templeton & Co Ltd and Blackwood, Morton & Sons Ltd, Kilmarnock. Most, though not all, are mounted on hard board and some designs are in the form of promotional boards, so, using the design number, can be cross-referenced with STOD/201/1/1 'Catalogues'.

This description is part of the Design Archive  which is divided into the 142 sections, each with its own separate description.
