Administrative / Biographical History

Thomas Black Duncan was born in Leslie, Fife in 1889  and he entered the University of Glasgow , Scotland in 1909  . He attended university until 1914, taking classes in Mathematics, Latin, Natural Philosophy, Education, Physics, Chemistry, Political Economy, and Geology. Duncan graduated with honours in mathematics in 1915  .
