Administrative / Biographical History
Lilian Hulme Graham was born in Manchester on 16 June 1902 . Her father John William Graham was a manager for Mather and Platt Engineers. Lilian attended the University of Glasgow from 1921-1925 , taking classes in European History and French in her first year; French (Higher), English and Geology in her second; Logic and Political Economy in her third, and Italian in her fourth and final year. Lilian graduated MA in July 1925 and subsequently became a secretary. She died around 1988 in Stockport.
