Records with the common theme of production have been placed in this series. The subseries research and processes material was originally arranged into separate series titled "lab books," "process books," and "reports". On examination, despite differing titles and formats, there was a continuity in content in that all three were found to have reports, experiments, and recipes in common. In this instance, it was decided they would be better placed in the same sub series.
