This series was contained in two box files marked "Kidston & Gwynne-Vaughan Fossil Osmundaceae Notes etc" and "Kidston & Gwynne-Vaughan Original photos for Fossil Osmundaceae." They are the original papers submitted to the Royal Society of Edinburgh for publication, together with plate-proofs, duplicate and unused photographs and text figure illustrations.
