Administrative / Biographical History
Robert Lind was born in 1907 and lived in Hartwood, Lanarkshire. From 1926 he attended the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he studied Mathematics, Natural Philosophy and Chemistry. He continued his studies in Mathematics and Chemistry in sessions 1927-1928 and 1928-1929. However, in the academic sessions from 1929-1931 he went to the Royal Technical College, Glasgow, to study Botany, Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy. Robert Lind graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1931 and became a pharmacist. Robert Lind died in the late 1970s.
