Barbara Arthur Wilson was born in 1925 in Stirling, Scotland. She came to the University of Glasgow in 1943 to study in the Faculty of Arts. In her first year (1943-1944) she attended classes in French, German and Political Economy. In the second session (1944-1945) she took classes in French (Higher), German (Higher) and Moral Philosophy. In the 3rd session (1945-1946) she studied Mathematics (Ordinary) and Psychology. She graduated MA in 1946 . She married Joseph Campbell in c 1957.

The lecture notes were found in a cupboard at Denny High School, Denny, Stirlingshire, Scotland. They were given to Falkirk Council Archives in June 2004 and then deposited in GUAS.
