Administrative / Biographical History

PF Nominees Ltd, Glasgow, Scotland was established in 1930  to act as managing agents, trustees, or nominees of property, lands, buildings, business concerns, financial investments, shares, stocks, licenses, patents, and mortgages. As listed in the articles of association its clients were any person, association, company, corporation, government, state or province, any municipal authority, or public body. The first directors were James Finlay Muir (son of Sir John Muir and partner in James Finlay & Co Ltd, textile manufacturers, tea planters, and merchants, Glasgow, Scotland), who was appointed chairman, A M McGrigor, J D Gatherd, W Warrington, and W H Marr. The company was dissolved in 1998 .
