This series contains a range of material relating to Paul Clark’s professional work. It is not a complete record of his work, but the files cover a wide time range and also a range of subjects. Material includes correspondence, financial information and photographs. There is information relating to Clark's design work, exhibitions, publications and interactions with other organisations such as the Plastics Historical Society, Ditchling Museum and The Design Museum. In some cases Clark appears to have added explanatory comments to documents at a later date. Although some files are labelled as relating to certain topics, it is sometimes the case that information relating to other areas is also contained within them. In order to gain a full understanding of Clark’s activities it may therefore be necessary to look in files that seemingly cover different topics.
