- History
When the Panacea Society was an active religious organisation, it collected a vast amount of material relating both to its own history and practices, as well as those of earlier groups they affiliated themselves to.
Over recent years, the material has been catalogued and the Panacea Charitable Trust is currently conserving and digitising the collection to make them more readily available for academic research.
The Charity possesses three unique historical archives:
The Panacea Society Collection which consists of an extensive number or records relating to the Panacea Society, its members, their interests and their wider historical period.
The Joanna Southcott Collection which consists of a collection of manuscript sources and rare books relating to the Southcottian prophetic and millenarian religious traditions from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. A large number of items within the Southcott Collection have been digitised.
The Healing Collection which consists of correspondence records of the Panacea Society’s international healing ministry.

Researchers wishing to obtain access to any other copies of archive material are required to send a written application to the Trust’s Executive Officer. All requests must be supported by an explanation of the purpose of the research. You will be asked to provide identification in the form of driving license/passport and institutional identification.
- cenSAMM. This collection contains a number of on-line resources relating to apocalyptic and millenarian movements.
- The James Jershom Jezreeel Collection. Contains materials relating to the prophet James Jezreel and the religious community he founded called The New and Latter House of Israel (also known as The Jezreelites).
- The John Wroe collections contains the original published works of John Wroe (1782-1863) who founded the Christian Israelite movement in 1819. The collections contains all his published works (including his private communications give to full members) along with rules, regulations and memberships lists of early Christian Israelite members.
- The Panacea Society Collection. An extensive collection of archives relating to the Panacea Society, its formation, its members, their interests and their wider historical period.
- The Richard Brothers Collection. Contains printed and manuscript works concerning the prophetic writings of Richard Brothers (1757 to 1824).
- The Southcott Collection. Manuscript sources and rare books relating to the Southcottian prophetic and millenarian religious traditions, which includes the manuscript and printed writings of Joanna Southcott, Richard Brothers, George Turner, and John Wroe.
