Edward Thornton, gent., of Thetford, acknowledges receipt of £750 from Sir Miles Sandys, as his share of £3000 due to be paid for Thetford Manor to Nathaniel Thornton, Isaac Thornton and Edward Thornton, brothers, and to Benjamin Thornton, granted and sold by Samuel Thornton, esq., brother to Edward etc., by indenture of 19 Nov. 1633. Signed by Edward Thornton, seal removed. Witnessed by George Parker, Henry Turnor, and Richard Lewis.
