Administrative / Biographical History
Treacy became Vicar and Archdeacon of Halifax in 1950, Suffragan Bishop of Pontefract in 1961, and Bishop of Wakefield in 1968. He also served as a military chaplain (see his diaries, 1944-46: MSS 3568-71).
