Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Hampshire Archaeological Committee is made up of representatives of all organisations in the county involved in archaeological activity, local authorities and national archaeological bodies. Its main function is to co-ordinate and promote rescue archaeology in Hampshire and to advise and assist in the publication of excavation reports.
