In consideration of #15, James Morehen of Cambridge, cordwainer (only brother and heir at law to Peter Morehen of Cambridge, carpenter, deceased) and Jane his wife, convey to Robert Waterfield of Cambridge, joiner, their cottage in Walls Lane, Holy Trinity parish, Cambridge, with vacant possession (late in the occupation of Thomas Dilliston, cordwainer). For further security, a fine is to be levied in the court of Common Pleas with William Mott of Cambridge, gent (third party to the indenture) or some other suitable person as counzee. Lease (for one year at peppercorn rent) signed by James Morehen, witnessed by John Stone and Chs Martindale, duty stamp. Release in form of tripartite indenture, signed by both Morehens (Jane making her mark), same witnesses, duty stamps. Release endorsed with receipt for consideration money, same date, same signature.
