Little is known about the Crichton family. They lived in Glasgow, Scotland 1838-1922  and one member of the family, B Crichton, was treasurer of the PSSA, a local organisation. The family accounts reveal the expenditure of the family in terms of bills and good purchased, and a child's notebook includes a fairy tale story written by a young member of the family.
