Scope and Content

The papers consist of notebooks, files, press cuttings, correspondence, and typescript articles collected by Arthur Charles Langford. They relate to the history of businesses, primarily in England, throughout the 20th Century. The press cuttings also contain reviews of books on English and World History. Also included are Langford's impressions of economics in the mid-20th Century.
