Recites the title of John Swan of Barnwell, yeoman (2nd and joint 1st party) to three tenements in and near Brick Kiln Lane, Barnwell, Cambridge (see Doc 3750). In consideration of #500, Swan and his trustee in part of the mortgaged property, Edward Preston of Barnwell, victualler (joint 1st party), now mortgage (in the form of a 1,000 year lease at peppercorn rent) the same property to James Wentworth of Cambridge, gent (3rd party), who is Swan's mesne trustee in Doc 3750. Swan agrees to take out insurance policies with a London company on the property in Wentworth's behalf. Tripartite indenture of 3 membranes, signed by all parties (Swan makes mark), witnessed by George Henry Bays and Lydia Sizer, respectively clerk and servant to 'Mr Wentworth, attorney'; duty stamps.
