Scope and Content

John Martindale Forlow of Cambridge, son of John and Frances Forlow, both deceased, agrees with William Woollard Creeke of Cambridge, tailor, to the assignment of leasehold property in Post Office Yard or Muse Yard, Cambridge, described in a lease dated 28 Feb 1789 from the trustees of Susannah Forrester's charity estate to Forlow senior. The price is to be fixed by Charles Humfrey of Cambridge, surveyor, or some other mutually acceptable party. Forlow owes Creeke #133, which is to be considered part of the purchase money. Enclosed is a valuation of (apparently) the same property, carried out by Thomas Hollingsworth. 3 pages, signed by both parties, witnessed by Michael John Allen, duty stamp. Valuation: copy, dated from Cambridge, 24 Mar 1824.
