An account book belonging to Henry Williams, recording his activities as a carrier in north Wales between 1853-1854.

Administrative / Biographical History

Henry Williams was a carrier, a person who undertakes, for payment, the transport of goods. He carried goods on behalf of shops, blacksmiths and quarries. It is unclear whether he was based in Porthmadog, Caernarfonshire or Ffestiniog, Merioneth.
