Nominal repayment date of capital sum and 5% interest is 7 July 1846. Signed and sealed by both parties, witnessed by J P Hart and Ja Jarrold, clerks to [W G] Ashton, solicitor, of Cambridge, duty stamps. Signed receipt from Lee for the £98 on verso, same witnesses and date. Form of indenture provided by Thomas Lloyd of Holborn, parchment-dealer, and Silvester and Co of The Strand, engravers.
