Administrative / Biographical History
This private bank was established in 1807 in Baldock. In 1830 it amalgamated with G & W Hogge (est. 1810) of Biggleswade to form Wells, Hodge & Lindsell. It was acquired by Capital & Counties Bank (est. 1877) in 1893.
