Administrative / Biographical History
Simon Andrus, ironmonger, leased a shop on Frogmore Road, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, in 1832. Following his death, his widow, Lydia, conveyed the lease to the Right Rev. Thomas Joseph Brown, Roman Catholic Bishop and other priests in 1858. By 1875, the property was held by James William Price and George Mathews, ironmongers of Abergavenny.
