Administrative / Biographical History
Blane & Co (Engineers) (Pty) Ltd were appointed as selling agents for Fullerton, Hodgart & Barclay Ltd , engineers, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, who specialised chiefly in the construction of mine winding equipment, compressors, pumps, coolers and evaporators. Blane & Co (Engineers) (Pty) Ltd was a South African company whose main offices were in Isando, South Africa, with branches in Durban, Pretoria, Capetown and Port Elizabeth.
