Scope and Content

240 x 155 mm. A photographic copy of a mezzotint by A. Bayntun showing the Bridge across the Belize River which joins the northern and southern section of the city. This illustration forms the frontispiece of the 'Honduras Almanack for 1829', of which the Royal Commonwealth Society Library holds possibly the only extant copy. The other illustrations in the book have also been copied with negatives numbered as follows:
