This bond underwrites an obligation by Henry Marmion and his guarantors Dillon and Croker to pay Richard Cartwright esq of Aynhow, Northamptonshire #52 10s on 26 June 1619. Signed and sealed by Shakerley and Henry Marmion, witnessed by ?Richard Cartwright and Nicholas Fordham. Endorsed with contemporary financial calculations relating to the debt, and further endorsed: 'The #77 10s 0d was paid to / Mr Cartwright the 1 April 1623'.
