Administrative / Biographical History

The Huddart family of Plas Bryncir at Llanfihangel-y-Pennant in Gwynedd, north Wales, originally came from Yorkshire. The Huddarts owned this estate, which was originally the property of the Bryncir family, during the period 1812-1844. Previous owners of Bryncir property were William Wynne of Wern and William Owen of Porkington and Clenennau.

Material is arranged in chronological order and incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
