The volume represents Bate's answer to George Bryant to a pamphlet lent by him, entitled Heaven open to all men, which Bate found to be full of "false Philosophy, dishonest Sophistry, and real or affected ignorance of the true sense of Scripture". The writing is probably in Bate's hand. 24pp.
