S., the E. end abutting on Rongbrooke and the W. head upon land of Altham Smith, esq., which were purchased by Edward Battey, father of Thomas, from William Fuller 3rd Apr. 1657...To have and to hold...Signed by Thomas Batty and Jean Batty [sic], 2 seals attached.
