The volume contains an alphabetical list of books written in English, 128 pages, followed by a list of works by Chinese authors, 25 pages, in which the titles are given in both Chinese and English. The text is on the rectos only. Loose with the volume is a printed pamphlet listing the works of Giles' father, the Revd Dr J.A. Giles.
