Comprises ledgers of the Croesor Tramway, Merionethshire, 1864-1896.

Croesor Tramway, Merionethshire, north Wales was a horse tramway carrying slates from the Palmerston, Fronboeth, Cefnbraich, Parc (Upper and Top), Croesor Bach and other small quarries to the Porthmadog quay, Caernarfonshire for shipping. The slates of the Gorseddau Quarry were also brought to this tramway. The Croesor Tramway, which had a gauge of 1ft 11.5 inches, was constructed by Hugh Beaver Roberts c. 1863. It ran from Porthmadog to the upper end of the Croesor Valley, a distance of about seven miles and in October 1863 a deed of mutual covenants was made between Roberts and the Rhosydd Slate Company Ltd, by which a wayleave was granted enabling the Rhosydd Company to construct a railway line and incline from its property to the Croesor Tramway. In 1865 the Croesor and Portmadoc Railway Act incorporated the Croesor and Portmadoc Railway Company, maintaining the existing railway from Carreg Hylldren to Porthmadog.
