Scope and Content

Will of Thomas Jaye, yeoman, of Cretingham. Small bequests in money to his three children, Samuel and James Jaye and Martha [Blois/Bloss?] and 2/- to his son Thomas. All his goods to be sold and the residue of the money to his children Susan Clarke, Elizabeth Harison, Mary Adams, Ann Pettet, and the three first mentioned. Robert Chenery, surgeon, of Earl Soham, Suffolk, and his son, Samuel, to be executors. Signed by Thomas Jaye. Witnessed by William Burch, James Churchyard, and Reginald Newson.
