George Edward Kenworthy, a Corporal, 2nd Battalion, Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment, was captured at Arras, May 1917, and held as a POW (Prisoner of War) working on a gun railway at Meurchin and later at Genech, Marchiennes, Lens, Fredericksfeld, Parchim and Springhursch.
