Scope and Content

On 16 Oct 1674 Thomas Dickinson of Cambridge, innholder, leased to Thomas Marshall of Cambridge, barber, a moiety of a tenement in the parish of All Saints, Cambridge, to the north of the White Bear Inn and the premises of Thomas Fordham, watch-maker, on a 40-year lease from 1676 at an annual rent of #10. In consideration of #20, Marshall now assigns the residue of the lease to John Adams of Cambridge, carpenter. Indenture, signed and sealed by Thomas Marshall, witnessed by Thomas Dickinson, William Walker, and Isaac Lowry.
