Volume I: (In 2 books - a and b): 29 January 1563 - 12 March 1564.
Volume II: (In 3 books - a, b and c): 29 April 1575 - 26 November 1575.
Volume III: (In 2 books - a and b): 30 November 1575 - 18 August 1576.
Sheriff Courts tried local criminal cases such as theft and assault; the sheriff might be assisted by a jury.
