Administrative / Biographical History

The Trust was established in 1972 by the British Association of Social Workers. It is a registered charity. The Trust aims to assist qualified social workers to develop their knowledge and skills, encourage research into social work practice and education and to educate the public in the nature of social work. Qualified social workers who have completed at least two years post-qualifying practice, and who work, or are looking for work, within the UK, can apply for grants from the Trust.
