Papers of the British League of Racing Cyclists: twenty two files of minutes, accounts, a membership list, correspondence, extracts from cycling magazines, details of races, etc., 1939-1959, 1972, 1994, including contacts with other cycling associations.

Administrative / Biographical History

The British League of Racing Cyclists was formed at an inaugural meeting at Buxton, 11 November 1942. In 1959 it amalgamated with the National Cyclists' Union to become the British Cycling Federation. These records were held by Charles Messenger.
