• Photographs of Evans-Wentz and friends and of scenes and people in India
• Miscellaneous issues of The Buddhist Chronicle, Ceylon, many containing articles by Evans-Wentz, 1922-4

Walter Yeeling Evans-Wentz (1878-1965) was an anthropologist.

Entry to read in the Library is permitted only on presentation of a valid reader's card (for admissions procedures see http://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/specialcollections).

The papers were bequeathed, with some Oriental manuscripts (now in the Department of Oriental Books, Bodleian Library) and artefacts (now on loan to the Ashmolean Museum) by Evans-Wentz, 1965. Many of the books and papers bequeathed were found to be so badly damaged by damp that they had to be destroyed.
