Scope and Content

H F Gelder [Flight Engineer 2nd class 1486492] was trained in aircraft engineering and maintenance at Blackpool, as part of his RAF service. The book is handwritten with detailed descriptions and drawings, including such things as details of Merlin engines.

[Mr Gelder appears to have been from Yorkshire originally, and either came to Old Colwyn to work or retire. He died in 2007]
