Yale-SOAS Islamic Manuscript Gallery (YS-IMG)

Scope and Content

Drawing on the extensive collections of the two institutions, the Yale SOAS Islamic Manuscript Gallery offers an integrated manuscript research toolbox of digitised versions of dictionaries and manuscript catalogues, previously only available in printed form.

Augmented by the selective digitisation and indexing of key manuscripts from the two universities' collections, the project has enhanced the fragmented resources available to the Islamic manuscript researcher and built a scalable set of tools for cross-referencing disparate digital resources.
