Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The National Association of Support Staff was established as a result of a Conference in 1989 to address issues of stress in health service professionals. It was founded by Grace M Owen and was sponsored by The Artemis Trust, a small charity set up to assist in counselling, psychotherapy and advice. NASS became a registered limited company and charity in 1991 and held annual conferences until it closed down in 2000.
