Probably you have had some responses to your letter in the Irish Times. ...'), with an undated postcard sending a book to sell ('to send up its value').
Curran, C.P.: 2 autographed letters, May and December 1956, discussing portrait prints and a bust of Dunsany.
O'Faolain, Sean: autographed letter, March 1958 with envelope, ('I cannot imagine why you want to see my juvenile observations on AE but perhaps you are just being thorough!').
Colum, Padraic: 2 typescript letters (with envelopes), March 1958, informing Denson of his wife's death, mentioning other friends, and Dunsany's painting ('I don't think I ever say any of them').
Keynes, Geoffrey: autographed letter with envelope, 16 June 1960, about the edition of Blake's letters and his bibliography of Robert Hooke.
Tuttle, Walter: long autographed letter from New York, 17 October 1960, about AE and art.
Keating, Sean: long autographed letter with envelope, 29 July 1969, largely about Tom Ryan, asking Denson to submit the information to Ryan for his approval before using it, and soliciting a copy of Denson's book on Leech.
Grieve, Christopher ['Hugh MacDiarmid'], long autographed letter, 15 December 1970, thanking him for the Seumas O'Sullivan check-list, offering to write a tribute to [Padraic] Colum (whom he had never met), and describing a lunch and dinner in Venice with Ezra Pound ('He was frail but very clear-headed with a keen eye that missed nothing. He has, however, a trouble with his throat, that makes articulation difficult – and I am very deaf. ...'). with a Christmas card of the same date. Together with a carbon copy of Denson's long reply, dated 23 December.
Hewitt, John: 2 autographed letters, 1973 and 1978, with the carbon of three of Denson's letters discussing various poets and artists, including his intended bibliography and iconography of AE.
Rowse, A.L.: 2 autographed letters on postcards, asking him to borrow the autobiographical books from his library, and thanking him for a cheque and for his understanding ('I have found that very few have it.').
Wilson, Mary: autographed letter, 10 November 1985, largely about the grave of Charles Williams.
Clarke, Austin: 4 typescript letters, 1968-1971, with one from Nora Ryan, 19 April 1974 after Clarke's death, with the carbons of Denson's very comprehensive replies, and the typescript (lightly annotated by the author) of Clarke's article on Padraic Colum for the bibliography.
Offering (1968) to look out letters of Herbert Palmer, thanking him for the bibliographical check-list of S[eumas] O['Sullivan], discussing at length Padraic
Colum's stroke in the USA, and Denson's efforts to ensure that he was financially provided for.

'Herbert Edward Palmer (1880-1961) : a bio-bibliographical survey and calendar of recordings' (1994).
