Vine, wife of William Edwards, miller, of Newmarket, in her will made on her marriage with William Edwards gives £400 to be paid by her husband to her son William Fosset Edwards, her two daughters Vine and Susan Edwards in equal shares, but if all die before their father, the whole...to William Edwards, her husband. And her copyhold messuage in Worthington, Suff., given to her by will of Vine Godfrey her grandmother, now in occupation of William Gee, to her husband William and his heirs. She appoints her husband and her brother John Godfrey, grocer, of Little Thurlow, Suff., and her sister Susan Godfrey, spinster, of Worthington, as her executors. Signed by Vine Edwards. Witnessed by Richard Fossett, Vine Tatshall (or Satshall?), and William Isaacson.
