Scope and Content

William Dunn of Chatteris gent, in consideration of #30 plus due interest, discharges Freeman Cawthorne from a conditional surrender of six copyhold acres in Sutton North Fen, manor of Sutton, made on 16 May 1785. Cawthorne had earlier purchased the land from one Thomas Maylin (see Doc 1780). Signed by William Dunn, addressed to the steward of the manor, duty stamps.
