Administrative / Biographical History

Warren Johns worked for Save the Children on two occasions. In Sudan, in 1985, he established laboratories in three refugee camps before moving to Thailand to work in another SCF refugee camp. In 1991 Warren was Relief Co-ordinator for Somalia. In Mogadishu he organised the distribution of supplies, food and general family rations. Local shelling and random fighting made aid work impossible at times. He also supported the program from Kenya and, for a short time, worked with David Shearer.
