Collection of short musical pieces, probably copied from printed editions. Among them the following: (p. 8) anon: Pastoral Dialogue, published c. 1760, c. 1765, c. 1770; (p. 23) T. A. Arne: 'When daisies pied', from As You Like It, published c. 1750; (p. 25) the same: 'Blow, blow, thou winter wind', from the same, published c. 1750, c. 1765; (p. 29) G. F. Handel: 'See the conquering Hero comes', from Judas Maccabaeus, first published 1747; (p. 65) anon: 'Adieu to the Village Delights', published 1750. Words are attributed to [George, 1st] Lord Lyttleton, but do not occur in the published editions of his works; (p. 67) ?anon: 'Farewell to Lochaber', published as part song, 1750; (p. 83) J. C. Bach: concerto; (p. 88) ?J. Parry of Rushden: 'Dafydd Gareg Wen', published c. 1760; (p. 96) S. Howard. 'Musette' from The Amorous Goddess, first published 1744; (p. 102) Barberini: 'Minuet', published c. 1720; (p. 104) G. F. Handel: 'How is it possible?' from Ariadne first published 1735; (p. 106) James Gerard: 'Minuet', published c. 1765; (p. 107) the same: 'Gavotte' published c. 1765; (p. 113) 'Lesson by Mr. Vinci', i.e. probably Leonardo Vinci, 1690-1730; Pp. 59-113 in reverse.
