Administrative / Biographical History

W Meeson was a previous occupier of the farm. Meeson had large non farm interests which presumably financed the initial purchase of the farm. In 1878 he had interests in brewing, malting, agricultural contracting, agricultural merchants (including implements), in addition to owning and receiving rent from several housing and office properties.

Farm size: 700-750 acres, owner occupied.
